Bodh GayaThis piece of land is famous because of the birth of Siddhartha and a new religion Buddha. Prince Siddhartha was born to King Shudhodhan of Kapilvastu and mother Mayadevi. From Nepal, Mayadevi were travelling to her mother’s place, because of confinement and at Lumbini a tiny shire. Siddhartha was born during 561 BC. The birth of this sacred child made him enlighten in the spiritual aspects of Buddhism a diversion from Hinduism.
